Physiotherapy

Our Chartered Physiotherapists and Sports Therapists are highly trained in anatomy, physiology and the related techniques of Swedish Massage, Manipulative Therapy, Heat and Cold Therapy, Electrotherapy and many other related fields.

The basis of our treatment is Remedial Massage. This is a therapeutic form of massage,
which is used successfully to treat metabolic imbalance within the soft tissues of the body caused by injury, paralysis, disease etc. Remedial Massage is used in conjunction with heat, ice, manipulation, acupuncture and electrotherapy to effectively treat many conditions including the following:

  • Soft tissues and joint injuries (muscle strain and joint sprains)
  • Knee pain
  • Foot and ankle injuries
  • Sports injuries
  • Lower back and hip pain
  • Neck and shoulder injuries
  • Achilles tendonitis, shin pain
  • Ankle injuries
  • General foot pain

Poor nail cutting can lead to an ingrown toenail which can become infected. We offer a range of treatments for addressing ingrown toe nails. For badly inflamed/infected and reoccurring ingrowing nails we recommend nail surgery under local anaesthetic. We have regular nail surgery clinics therefore anyone wanting to be seen quickly should not have a problem getting an appointment.
